Backstory: 2 years ago I moved into my condo and the battle against the cigarette smoke smell began. First I scrubbed the walls and surfaces to break up the oils with no noticable effects. Then I tried ozone to remove it and it would help a little bit but not much the several times I tried it and most importantly it wasn’t permanent. After that I removed everything — flooring, cabinets, appliances, A/C vents, etc — and repainted everything with a primer designed to seal away cigarette smoke forever. This worked for a year and a half or so I thought. For the most recent holidays I went away for a week with the A/C off and when I returned to the still air, it was like I hadn’t done anything. Cigarette smoke smell everywhere and I lost hope.
Then I found Alex at Master Odor Removal. He came out a couple days later. He explained clearly what he was doing and provided plenty of pictures of what he was doing throughout the whole process. He was able to remove tobacco oil in the few places that were origonal non-painted surfaces and even a few of the painted surfaces as well. Then he fogged my unit and when I returned the smell was gone. It was wonderful to not have to smell cigarettes at all time. A few weeks later there was a bit of the smell in the kitchen and I located it around the dishwasher. I called him and the next morning he was back out. I pulled out the dishwasher so he could get at it from all angles and the inside of the cubby as well. I am confident that the smell is gone for good. He left me a little bit of the spray should I need to hit it one more time just for good measure.

I called up Alex (quick, same-day response back) and he was quite thorough with his plan of action and was transparent with his methods, helping me understand his process. He worked with my schedule, communicated with me throughout the process with texts and photos of his progress ,and was quite generous with his up-front pricing. I contacted Master Odor Removal at the suggestion of a colleague who had a rental property faced with the same smoking odor issue that I was having. I called and spoke with the owner. Alex was amazing, he took his time to educate me on his products, the process and what sets his company apart from others. Prior to contacting Master Odor, I had already spoken to 2 other companies. After speaking with Alex, it was clear to me his company was the right choice for what I was looking to accomplish. I was impressed with his promptness, professionalism, thoroughness and pleasantness. Upon his arrival to the home, he showed me his products, had me smell them and thoroughly explained what he was about to do and what I had to after he was done. At the completion of the job, I was astonished by the house smell. It has been weeks and the house fragrant is out of this world. Although I was reluctant in paying more it was all worth it. I called Master Odor Removal because I had a sun roof leak that caused a musty smell inside my vehicle from the carpet getting wet and within 24 hours Alex the owner was at my house to help me. In looking at my vehicle he noticed that their was some mold spots growing on the exterior on the paint and while he doesn’t specialize in doing the exterior he offered to see if his product would work. As you can see from the photos below it worked wonders. Alex was extremely professional and informative in what he was doing. Not only was he able to remove the smell but he helped remove the mold growing on the outside and had the car looking new again.
It’s been a number of years since we had a good office cleaning to remove the odor. Being a manufacturing company there is lots of equipment and odors. Master Odor Removal did a tremendous job. They arrived on time, did a thorough job and left the office smelling great. The personnel were professional and took good care of the equipment and were extremely careful. When they left, the place had no odor and there was no lingering chemical smell. Will highly recommend them to others and will definitely use them again.
